Types of Content

Types of Content

Content = Nurture/Conversion

Content is the missing ingredient to grow your business. I’ve been on hundreds of sales calls, and a lot of people say “I’m not producing content” which is fine if you want an ok business. But if you truly want a business of real worth, then producing content is going to be the key to getting there.

The purpose of your content is to:

  1. Bring in new prospects
  2. Nurture your current prospects
  3. Convert your hot prospects

The most impactful part of content is nurturing and converting prospects. When joining myself or the team would have told you that we don’t just focus on sales in terms of scripts, frameworks etc.

We focus on sales in terms of what the prospects “Sees, Feels, and Experiences”. The reason we focus on this is because at least half of our prospects have made their mind up before jumping on the call with you. So we want to stack the odds in our favor, giving you every opportunity to convert your prospects into clients.

The Platforms

I will say this till the end of time: “The Platform doesn’t matter”. I will literally do this via snail mail if it worked. The platform really isn’t the important part here, and that is why what we do will work for a very long time, because we aren’t beholden to any one traffic source.

Right now in 2022 Facebook and FB groups are the easiest to start and grow, however, we’ve had clients succeed with everything from LinkedIn to IG to TT to Twitter. So adjust this strategy to the platform you are using.

Types of Content

We believe that there are specifically 5 types of content. Well at least 5 types of content that we want you producing.

They are:

  1. Action
  2. Social Proof
  3. Value/Authority
  4. Marketing/Promo
  5. YOU

Action

Action based content is VITAL. So often it is what people are missing from their content, and it’s why we have it first in this list. Action based content is designed to move your warm prospects to a call. And it is designed to move lurkers/cold prospects to warm.

There’s two types of action based content:

  1. High Intent Action Posts
  2. Low Intent Action Posts

High intent action posts:

The goal of these posts is to extract the 1-5% of people who are ready to buy. Be careful, because you can 100% over use these, but we find most people (ourselves included) do not use these enough. Think of these as “Making an offer” to your audience. So they don’t always have to follow the examples below.

High Intent Examples:

“I’m looking for 5 people who want to hit $10k in the next 30 days”

“It’s my mission to help 5 people hit $10k in the next 30 days”

Offer posts

Price increasing posts

Discount/new offer posts

Limited spots left posts

Just added xyz

Low intent action posts:

The goal of these posts is to get people who are on your list/following you to put their hand up so you can reach out to them and start a conversation. This is where you’ll be able to identify people's problems extremely quickly and move them to a call.
